How it going. I actually have a book on the family tree, and my brother has the coat of arms tatoo’ed on his chest. We live in Canada, and my grandfather (dad’s dad) is originally from Minnesota, he was deceased before I was born.

Tim, My tree veers off from yours at Samuel (not Stephan), Nathaniel’s brother. So, that means we are only three generations apart. Samuel was my great-grandfather’s father. If you read this, I would like to get in touch with you .

Chad,
Not sure if you are still following this blog, but much like the other bloggers here I recently trace my roots back to Sir Adam De Ireyes as well. The most interesting fact here is the Family coat of arms, which my Grandmother painted and is still displayed on a wall in my Mothers house. My Grandmother’s name was Edna Maud Irish (1906-2006). Her father was Willis Irish and his father was James V. Irish. I also traced John Irish and his wife Elizabeth (Risley) who traveled aboard the Talbot and laned in Salem, Massachuestts, June 27, 1629. Looking at your lineage above…there seems to be something missing, as I cannot find the names you had listed. Maybe you can fill be in. My name is Christopher White, from Marland.

I started digging about a year ago and found much of the same info. I’m glad to see that the Irish’s are so enclosed in a concentrated surname. Its not like we’re the “Smith’s” and really widespread. Anyway, I’m very proud of your work. I am from Michigan originally now in Florida. My name is Shawn Irish, my son is Corbin. Take care, cousin!

I too am a decendant of John Irish. My lineage is John, John, Jonathan, Jesse, Jesse,Pardon, Joseph, Samuel, Bloomfield, Charles, Harvey, and me Delana.

Fantastic post Chad. I can’t put into words how much I agree with what you said in regards to Dad and Grandpa. And I’m glad to see you so enthralled with politics! It may be a political point-scoring mud-slinging contest sometimes, but there’s really no grander stage to change the world. I find that healthy skepticism, especially of the skeptics, is the best medicine to keep a cool and rational mind among those highly “energized” by such a heated topic. With that said, I’m very hopeful about what Scott Brown can do, and I bring my usual plate of skepticism to the table along, too.
