Yesterday while at the Christmas Tree Shops, Sarah saw a new kitchen table that she thought would look good in our kitchen. We have been looking on and off for a new table for the kitchen for some time, but she really liked this one and it was reasonably priced. It came with two benches, but when we were picking up the table in recieving, the reciever said they had two other benches from a broken set out back, so we picked those up as well. Here is a before and after of the kitchen tables:

The old table is a very old family heirloom, given to us by my grandmother, who’s mother gave to her, and her mother may have given to her. Needless to say, it will stay in the house, most likely as a work station in the basement when its done over.
